Our l'Unicorno - nature, pleasure and relaxation
The exciting history which stretches from the antiquity of the Romans, e.g. with the Grottoes of Catullo, to the Battle of Solferino, which is a special reference for the Swiss thanks to Henry Dunant, is extremely interesting from a historical point of view. Lake Garda with its 370 km2 is the largest lake in Italy and only a 10-minute drive away. The sub-Mediterranean climate is very mild and has little rainfall. The lime groves, the olive trees, the vineyards and the typical vegetation offer a colourful portrait of nature. A boat trip on the lake or the many small quaint villages away from the hustle and bustle are within easy reach.
Our guests appreciate the peace, the relaxation, the seclusion as well as the personal contact with us hosts. In the morning, our guests are woken up by birdsong or by our rooster. Despite the tranquillity, our l’Unicorno is very centrally located. The UNESCO cultural cities such as Brescia, Verona, Mantova or Venice are also easily accessible by public transport. Internationally renowned and challenging golf courses are close by. Of course, strolling through the markets is not to be missed – according to the motto “Edolce far niente”.
Ten rooms radiate charm and an exclusive atmosphere of times gone by. In the Osteria “La Chiocciola” we serve our guests local and fresh dishes in the evening, accompanied by our own Groppello wines, Spumante Metodo Classico and our Aquavite.
