years. The old palazzo from 1654, which was uninhabited for many years, is the oldest house in the small farming village of Macesina in the western Lombard province of Brescia, just a few minutes from Lake Garda. A Lombard courtyard and, in 1777, a light-filled gallery with a portico in local white Botticino marble were gradually added to the original building and completed with an attic in 1779. The old stables, barn and cellar, as well as the stately wing, have undergone a gentle restoration with the aim of preserving the charm of the old and restoring the building to its original splendour.\r\n\r\nHeat pumps, a photovoltaic system as well as a thermal solar system to minimise CO2 emissions meet the demands of the hosts: to be able to offer you a relaxing as well as historical
